His music wasn't super duper great...he was a great performer, but not more spectacular than others. Thing was though..he was absolutely everywhere...in everything. You couldn't go 5 feet anywhere without hearing a song. You couldn't turn on the TV without seeing a commercial with him. You couldn't go to school without seeing every other kid in a red jacket and a white glove. He was a bigger star than Elvis...the Beatles....Obama.....anyone. It's sad he turned into a freaky ass weirdo who liked chmips and amusment park rides...but if anything, people should reflect back and realize that nobody will ever ever be that famous ever again. It was truely amazing if you think about it.
